Hi all, Heres a shot from yesterday while trying out my New Tamron 70-200 G2.
I know its not great but it was a trial and fun to try.
No Idea what type of Gull this is but there were a fair few when the bread bag got opened and a few scatterings thrown in the river and they are really good at catching bread inflight or from the hand.

looks like a Black-Headed Gull
It is! … the one with the headphones! :)
And certainly one of the most elegant.

Hi Graham,
the selected slow SS was not too inconvenient here in
the direction of the flight… but together with the ƒ4 the
wings got lost in terms of focus and blur. At 100 ISO on
the D750 you could have gone easily 2~3 stops more!

Thanks Dan,
1/640 was not that slow surely but I do like the OOF wings, gives it motion I think.
I`m guessing you would have liked to have seen more detail in the under wings.

Right but don't get me wrong, I too prefer some flight dynamic
to a frozen bird in the air… a proper balance is difficult to find
as one never knows at what distance will be the next capture.
