A little help with an ID please. Redwing?

Not a great shot but I think I may have caught a redwing. It was handheld at long range so the shot is poor. There was a very distinctive flash of almost orange as it wings were flapping. Could not get anywhere near unfortunately.

Glad to help! It may also be worth going back at the same time tomorrow perhaps. Since Redwings and Fieldfares usually hang around together ;)
 
It was at the bottom of the next door neighbours garden! I have just been doing a bit if reading on them, it appears they feed on berries and fallen fruit. We have 2 apple trees and a pear tree in our garden so fingers crossed it may be back.

Surprisingly quite a large bird I thought is was a sparrowhawk at first.
