Hi all,
Well, It`s warming up here in the South east of France and today was the 1st real day out to get some butterfly shots and whilst trying to sneak up on a Bath white I nearly stood on this little chap.
Meet AELURILLUS V-INSIGNITUS (V-FRONTED JUMPER) (Male)
This is a 1st for me to find one of these and boy could this jump a good distance.
Not the best shots but it shows the colours and patterning well.

Very nice set of images.(y)

George.

I like it, no distractions in the background. I don't think I've ever seen a jumping spider in real life.

Thanks, this sp lives in the fields with rocky area's. When you have a good sunny day, look on fence posts or on rocks, not always easy to see but if you are patient you will find one.

Nice set. I very much like the third.
Thanks Nick, I have been out again today and I find them everywhere on the stoney ground and these ones can really jump a long way.
