Hi Gazza,

i agree this is underexposed. I took a little look at some of your on the flickr link and a few of them seem underexposed. Can i ask if you are using the camera in manual or aperture priority, and which picture profile you have?Cheers Phil
 
Agree..underexposed but no problem,you'll get to have another shot at this soon enough at this time of year. You need decent light too to get the shutter speed up without compromising the ISO or aperture and it looks like you didn't have much light. You must have a go at Porthleven too. I know a great spot for you which is safe if you're interested.
 
It looks a tad soft on my monitor as well as 2 stops under exposed.
 
If you shot this in raw, a reprocess may be abke to recover some of the lost shadows, a nice and powerful shot but as already been said underexposed
