A new home for Nissan

[Rustydon]

"Nissan" has settled in well at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. He is the third Polar Bear at YWP, and is in a separate enclosure to Victor and Pixel.

Best to see Victor and Pixel in the morning light, and then Nissan in the afternoon - so best to make a full day of it and take in the Amur Tiger and Leopard cubs too

- Yes Neil, late on Saturday afternoon - best time of day at the moment (fog permitting!)

Victor and Pixel were still in the holding pen on Saturday opening, so Nissan took the opportunity to tease them; literally carried some food half way across his enclosure, up the hill overlooking the other two and waved it around in their direction.

He's the chap who surprised a few migrants in the back of a truck en route, is he not?

Yep! It must have been quite a shock for them to find Nissan in the back of that truck - he's a very big fella
