Northern Cardinal. Cardinalis cardinalis.

not a lot there this time of the year but the absence of foliage was better than when in full growth for photography. The hawk was seen near the East side exit to 5th Avenue. the rest seen at the feeding area in the Rambles.
All with Sony A7RIII, Sony 100-400GM with 1.4 teleconverter.

something different .thanks for posting

Damn I miss that place, seeing those pictures brings back the memories. I need to get myself myself back there.

Stunning photos by the way - I didn't achieve as nice ones!

I've had my knuckles rapped, it's a red tailed hawk apparently.
I love the park, been going since our daughter moved there a few years ago. I still manage to get lost though :D. For some inexplicable reason I shot everything at 1/200th instead of the usual 1/800th so I think it's probably a bit soft!
Thanks for the comments.
