Hi photo friends!

I went out into the woods today, armed with a neglected Nikon, kit lens and a nifty fifty. And a friend :)

My goal was to capture her in a manner where she felt comfortable about her appearance in the photo, she hates it when she's super smiley and gets awkward about it (though I LOVE it - see last photo) to use natural light with no use of flash, reflectors or any other tools like that.

She is much, much taller than me so that was a challenge for me as well.

Any and all comments, as always, more than welcome :)

That last photo is awesome, what a fabulous smile (her whole face gets in on the action, which is beautiful!) I like the shots using the tree allee. Which nifty fifty?

That last one is great, love the expression. The highlights across her nose just need toning down a smidge though. The fourth shot I also like, but hasn't the depth in the blacks as the rest of the set and so needs a little tweak to bring it in line with the rest.

Ah thanks for the feedback, I've made the edits and they look much better!

You can see and feel the confidence forming and the barriers lowering as the set evolves.
The last one is super.
