What a pity! I love old buildings/areas like the above. Every time the developers move in it's like a piece of history gone forever!

A surviving piece of docklands riverside, very little of that now. Are those hunks on the left ships being cut up?

Ah, have found the location on Google maps, Thames Path just off Banning Street. They look like floating dry docks, one of them has a boat on it.

I can remember an uncle taking me to Greenwich in about 1966, the river was full of towering, rusty freighters, dark wharves and gantrys. Almost completely gone now.

nice shot I know this place and have a few shots from the other end
