Hello guys
First time I have ever taken photos of blue bells. Please let me know your thoughts.

I really like that photo.

I do love the "letterbox" crop to a photo, and am guilty of doing it myself quite a lot

but personally i feel in this show it doesn't work because of the tall trees that are cut in half.

But everything else, for me, is spot on.

Thanks for your critique.

I had to crop the way i did as the original shown a lot of waste land and light thru thre trees.

Will be doing more next time round and improve on the original photo and data.

Exposure looks spot on and I too like the letter box type crop (y)

Great shot, but my eye keeps getting distracted by the dark tree on the left.
 
I had the same issue as Scotty B in that the dark tree to the left stands out somewhat.....perhaps a bit of 'trunk dodging' would help? :thinking:

I know what i should look at when composing similar shots in the future.
Ant tips would be greatly appreciated.
