Was at Aberdeen Beach this morning and have a few of these. First one processed is towards the "over" exposed but still like this. Thoughts?

Like the comp, really nice. As said, shame the sky's blown, I'd also crop a load of the sky out. I'd also be tempted to clone out the thingy at the end.

I think I would also crop a bit off the sky put the round thingy on thirds

As a local lad I know these well and that's a really good take on one. I like it very much Perhaps a wee smidge off the top to take the horizon away from centre but that apart, excellent.

Now it is funny that you want more off the sky as I was wanting the horizon to be MORE central (but cannot crop further without losing balance elsewhere) as this makes the picture more neutral in my view. My thinking being that the "blown" highlights create the drama and the composition remains balanced only by the cloud above (which I do wish I could recover more as this is a flaw).
