Fantastic light; prefer the first, possibly because a wide view increases the feel of 'openness'

Both very pleasing pictures. Prefer the portrait just because I like that format more often than landscape and the proportions fit the frame better, the texture in the water off to the right of the wee island is also a nice touch.
This shouldn't be about kit but there's something about Pentax that always impresses me. Almost bought in to them when I started out because a good friend was shooting Pentax at the time (now Nikon), wish I had at times.

Like Scott I like the vertical shot the most.

There look like so many options to shoot not least from high up above the beach of the view you showed late in the video.

In terms of functions and value for money Pentax rock but in terms of marketing and getting out there to new customers, they proper suck!

I've shot that higher vantage point before as a panoramic
