Small, Buchon-heavy selection from the weekend before last. Sunlight was at a premium and I wasted the best of it chatting to friends.

Smashing
Lovely shots of some wonderful aircraft

Fantastic set - great composition and lighting. Of them 1 & 6 really stand out.

What lens were you using and whereabouts were you?

Thanks for the comments. I was using the Canon EF 70-300mm L IS, and I was on the crowd-line. at the eastern end on Saturday, moving to the western end on Sunday, when the wind direction had changed the runway in use.

It's a tremendous bargain at Headcorn - a two-day ticket only cost me £12.75 with a discount code via Groupon. The flying is quite distant, and well beyond the reach of the 300mm lens, but the photo ops along the fence-line and on the runway are excellent, and the backdrops are beautifully uncluttered.
