Affinity Photo Special Offer

Thay've had the 50% off for quite a while, I couldn't use it on my Win 10 laptop but my iMac is more than happy with it ... great value AND NIK plugins work with it. )

I have Affinity Publisher (also on offer at 50% off) so tried Photo.
Some very nice features, but the raw converter is lousy so even at half price don't think i'll bother.
 
The astro stacking features in v1.9.0 (just out) look very nice. If only the clouds would let me out to play...

It's also got one of the best pano stitchers I've used, and can make sense of handheld panos with bare tree branches that trip up other tools (ON1 Photo Raw, for example). I'm not a fan of the UI method of pano file selection, but the auto-fill often does a surprising job, and a quick pass with the infill brush on the parts it doesn't quite hit makes it easy to sort out the corners that I (inevitably) miss a bit off !

I do agree that I'd not pick it as a RAW development tool - nothing wrong with it per se, just that there's nothing to make me get excited by that feature.
