After The Hail.

They say the best light comes after the rain, or hail in this case.

A very bedraggled goldfinch, probably the shot I'm happiest with yet from my hide. Amazing the difference a splash of light makes.

I did feel sorry for it, the others were all relatively dry, they'd obviously found some kind of shelter but this one was soaked.
