Alderwood Falls B&W

Now that I like very much - only thing I'd change is to try to get a little more detail out of shadow areas on the rocks - not much, but just enough to provide a little information.

I think you're right, I went too far with the negative exposure on my LR radial filter. The detail is in the raw file, but I wanted to concentrate the eye on the movement in the water. I was a bit too heavy handed. Thanks for pointing it out.

I think you could tweak the DR as the
high keys are somewhat missing. :cool:
 
Thank you for the suggestion and taking time to post, much appreciated. I'm going to compare histograms between the Flickr version and the original as the highlights were fine in the worked copy in LR. I've never thought about it before or checked, so much obliged for the comments, folks.
