Beautiful work both at the creation and the capture! I'm envious of both sets of your skills.

Lovely bowls, beautifully lit and well arranged - what's not to like!

That's a cracker of a still-life image. The placement of the bowls is nice and perfectly lit.

Are these your handiwork?
Thanks Stan they are indeed my handiwork

Wow, happy to have caught up with these. That graffiti shot has massive scale and the lighting is superbly menacing - total contrast to the warm morning light pic which I think is very cinematic. And as others have said, azacing woodworking skills, beautifully photographed, Great stuff!

Lovely shot. The lighting showcases the beauty of the wood.

Nicely lit and presented. If it's just a hobby you could use images like this in a catalogue and start a busniess. You never know.......

Thanks, that is an option I have been looking at recently.

Snapper’s choice lovely picture, especially like the lighter coloured bowl

WEEK 6 SILHOUETTE

window by Allan Howe, on Flickr

iPhone pic, really struggled this week not the weather for silhouettes so cheated a little by pushing the contrast and the blacks.

I think that the image is good Allan but I think that I might have cropped out some of the sides and the top (down to just above the thin white line.

+1 for a crop. It'd make a great square pic. Nothing wrong with helping in post - it's been done since the days of the wet darkroom. The composition is great - a "found" image or one you created? Either way it's a lovely picture.

Thanks it’s already a cropped image but I take your point about cropping it more

It’s the view from a window in work in a room we have our breaks in.

Great image! Don't care at all with the "cheat" - all is fair in love and photography. I too think a square crop would suit it, and there is a bright spot (RHS) that would be better cloned out.

But as presented, love it!

Love the contrast with the outside area, almost looks infra red.

Is that a reflection or an occupant..? Whoever they are they are suitably brooding and fit the feel of the photo beautifully. Noting the straight lines and the lack of photographer reflection - it's very nicely processed too.

As I now have 3 window shots out of the last 4 I thought I would add something to this one to amuse myself, it’s a ghost.
