Ambleside

Just returned from a trip up through the lakes and onto Mull. Fantastic couple of weeks but "cream crackered" now

An early start to catch the sunrise proved fruitless, but there was little wind and a slight mist came and went as the breeze picked up.

Took a few photos, but this one stood out.

Thanks Peter - still need to go through a lot of photos. I am sure there is something worth posting in there

I dropped my D810 and broke the lens mount on my first day on Mull - so I had to revert to my D7100 for the entire time on Mull - many panoramas were taken

Been up to Mull and island hopping on the bikes a few times with limited gear and mates who had no time for me to " mess about" taking photos- be good to see what you got ...

I didn't renew it on the body as it was 2 years old. The big lens is covered but survived the fall anyway. A 500 F4 makes mince out of a D810

I think I have one good shot from Mull and a couple of Ok shots. That's good going for a 6 day trip
