Managed to grab a photograph this morning of the eclipse, heavy cloud with only small windows of blue every so often so had to be quick off the mark. This is the best I could come up with, its grainy but beggars can't be choosers .

I like the feel of the image, but for me the sky's too dark, and there's a halo along the entire horizon.

Thanks for your feedback Ruth I have tried to fix the halo and lightened the sky.

That's a very nice shot Carol, and in a different sort of way easily as nice as some of the other eclipse shots. I personally like the heavy sky, and the way the country lane leads into the picture together with the kinda spooky lighting.(y)

100% better than I managed to get in the SE.:(

Dark moody sky and the eclipse just peeking through, i like it, just a shame about the halo on th he horizon.

Thanks Jakeblu I tried fixing the halo but obviously it didn't work! Lol
