An unexpected shot from Glencoe

I went to Glencoe with a "shot list" in my mind and this was not on it - shame on me!!!

It's a great scene, but I'd like to roll the processing back 50% for my tastes.

I quite like the shot but the hdr thing is a bit OTT and I'm in two minds about the frame.

I have to agree with the two previous posters the processing is a little too ott for my liking and I'm a big fan of the vibrance slider

Actually it is one shot only with a bit of clarity and dehaze added. I actually like it this way but here is a copy with less.

I definitely prefer the second shot because it has greater detail in the hull.

I would say so too. But maybe 1 is just at the right point for BW conversion.

There is something mysterious and surreal about elements of this scene, such that, IMO, the processing complements it remarkably effectively & well
