Angel of the North in Colour Infrared

Seemed a good evening for photography tonight and an IR shot of the Angel of the North with my Fuji S5 is something I've been fancying doing for ages. Red and Blue channels switched in Photoshop.

I've never been a fan if IR, but I have to say this is absolutely lovely!
I'd hang this in a heartbeat.

An absolute cracker Graham and very good use of the IR conversion. Clicking on the Flickr version makes it go huge and the detail is fantastic.

Thanks for the kind words folks. Wasn't sure how well this would go down. Obviously I like it but IR can be a bit marmite.

I do fancy displaying though I've noticed a few dust bunnies that may not be obvious at this size and a chaps head on the right hand side. So maybe due a bit of minor spot heeling first.
