Another 1st with a shy little bird

Yesterday spent a long time trying to capture a photo of a little Snipe - he was intent on keeping hidden in the grasses and reeds but occasionally popped out for a look and then at length took to the water.
At full 600mm and large crops so not quality images but pleased to cross another one off of the list.

lol, having been with SWMBO for nearly 50 years I'm not sure I could cope with "shy"!

Great set, I like No 2 a lot.
That big siggy seems to have coped well under tricky conditions.
