Yes
This was my first time attending an F1 race. Armed with my new (to me) Canon 7D, a 55 - 250 lens and a bag full of enthusiasm I set of in the hope of taking one or two reasonable photos.

These are some of the better ones. I do have some beautiful shots of perfectly in focus fence and empty track [emoji23].

These are straight out of the camera. I realise I had the shutter speed too high which has made many pictures too static. But I was worried about all my pictures being blurry.

I managed one shot of Bottas I'm really happy with.

I'd welcome any comments. Thanks for looking

The 55-250 was the first lens I bought back in 2010 on my 450D still got it somewhere.

Best of the bunch for me is 12 some of the others there is no room for the car to run into and I would not bother with shots that include the top of the fence.

You picked one of the worse circuits to shoot if you can get to Brands GP or Snetterton you will have a much better result.

All the best and don't give up it takes a lot of practice I am still learning and will never be an expert by a long way.
