Hi, I didn't think it was a crop, I meant that the subject was slightly too large in the frame and would have maybe been better with a touch more space around it (from the exif it was shot at a focal length of 135mm, maybe 100mm or 85mm would have given that space), certainly a little more would be better in front to give the plane somwhere to fly into, it's all about perception!

Nice shot, I agree with EdBray about some extra room especially in front. This takes me back to 1974 when I was doing the same at Kidlington, Oxford.
