Another go at macro

Still trying to get to grips but quite like this, apart from the annoying thread on the right. Didn't notice it earlier and Im not sure how to remove it!!! help yourself to an edit if you like.

Very nice shot of the orange flower. As well as the thread, I'd of been tempted to remove the unopened bud before shooting, as not sure it adds to the image.

I don't profess to be any good in Photoshop but thought I'd give it a try, hope ok. I stopped short of removing the white pollen on the bottom right purple petal as didn't know how much PP'ing you wanted.



Have to say I really like the shot Gary, well done.

Not sure about the second edit, cropping part of the flower and I prefer to keep the colours of the actual subject.
Not criticising as its a personal choice for us all
