Another Moon Shot.........

Why did you need a stack anyway Mark?

I think I see a WB issue here!

Is it me or is the moon miss shaped?

It definitely seems to have something of a yellow hue to it.

It's you. The moon is very very slightly non-round - its equatorial diameter is 3476km and its polar diameter is 3472km - but you won't be able to spot that with the naked eye.

I hope the OP won't mind me annotating his image to clarify these points:

Or perhaps my eye better!!!! It could see from 250,000 miles away that the moon is 4 kms wider than tall! [emoji104]

Is that a diametric discrepancy of 0.1 or 0.01%

Yes its all in the processing I guess. Stacking should bring out more detail K

Suppose it be most rounded on full moon which is on Wednesday night............

Anyway, I think the shot is a bit "hard" anyway, that's Registax wavelets not on quite the right settings...........practice is needed

Thanks all for comments...............
