For most of us Mil Jet fans the last couple of weeks at Lakenheath have been like all our christmas's coming at once.

I managed to get up there last friday and spent a few hours around the Heath and over at the Hall as well trying to capture these elusive beasts.

Unlike the earlier days in the week, the weather was drab, so no blue sky backgrounds I'm afraid.

We were lucky to catch the presidential Limo's returning at the Hall.

But the day belonged to these guys.

Top notch, especially considering the lack luster lighting. May I ask the camera/ lens combo used?

Thanks @jovial Shot using my D7200 (first aviation shots as well) with a Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 - Aperture priority for the jets of f8 and Shutter speed of about 1/320 or below for the props. ISO 400 as it was so dull.

Looking at them on a different monitor and I think they are a bit too light, especially the last one, so looks like I need to get my home monitor calibrated.:grumpy:
