Very sad news, possibly 20,000 dead.

Guillemots are one of my favourite Auks, I've spent many happy hours over at Flamboro', photographing then in flight along the cliff tops, only time will tell how many of our UK coast colonies have been effected

Made horrible reading when I seen it earlier, be interesting to see what the cause turns out to be and if it was something only in that close proximity or if it will be wider implications

Utterly breaks me heart Phil......so so many....nature has a big picture but this is not that, once again only a small word at play

man

It would have been cool to say "hey mate" on something other than this Phil, if i'm honest!! But thanks for posting,as always I knew nuffin !!

it's so long now Phil I'm stumped as to whether the bird I used to see were these or razors, can't remember ,I'm sure gillies!! They are so small the auks, one rarely sees that in an image !!

TFS bewilderingly sad though !!
