not seen this type before wondering if anyone could through some light onto it. I have seen similar but they more grey in colour and open like a flower
1st pic was with iPhone the other went back to car for my little EOS M looks like it has released it spores there were NO others around this was a solo plant

Looks like it could be a mature Hares-foot inkcap, Coprinopsis lagapus
