Yes
Snapped this fellow on a recent holiday in Spain.
We went to a zoo for a day out, and this chap was flying around wild.
Don't know what it is though.

This one is the only full length shot I have.

Just googled imperial eagle. Colour is about right, but not the right beak.

Bonelli's Eagle? Seen often in Spain. Nice shot.

It's a bit difficult to say. It may been a free-flying but domesticated bird, and if so it could have come from anywhere in the world. No self-respecting wild raptor would let you get that close, would it?

It doesn't look very big, judging from the size of the beak. Or very fierce.

Probably not Bonelli's, I suspect.

Possibly a Booted? Do you have any other pics?

Correct it was not a very large bird, about the size of a buzzard. I will look for another shot.

That is one of the things that puzzled me about it, Both shots were taken
@ 400mm, with hardly any crop. He didn't seem to bothered about the people below. Or getting quite close.
Thanks for the comment Dean.

Is it possible this is a zoo bird? It would explain why he's not concerned about people. Dudley Zoo have a Harris Hawk which flies around the zoo at various times and perches on the old castle battlements - looks very impressive.
