It has its own challenges! Not least getting your buoyancy right as you try to lean in to get the right bit in focus!
 
Interested yes, brave enough to potentially ruin kit NO.

I know a lots use thin glass tank and shot through the glass so stay nice and dry wouldn't mind trying that.

But if your into it certainly interested in any images you produce :D
 
Will post some up after my next trip. No real risk of ruining kit with a proper housing and diving insurance hehe. Definitely a HUGE learning curve with shutter speed, strobes and light metering not the same as above water at all plus the challenges of fast moving critters UW and scaring them when you breathe out.

I have been trying to do it through glass - so far ok but I want to improve my setup. The big advantage about putting them in a small container is that you can use rainwater which looks a lot clearer. If I had taken these in their natural habitat then it would just have been a blur.

That new Chinese lens might be interesting for you, the one that's waterproof. Laowa 24mm.
