Got a lawnmower, just don't have the inclination to do gardening haha. It's been far worse than this before.You need to sell the camera and buy a lawn mower

I'll see if I can get a suitable branch off the dying tree out the back when it dries up. This was simply set up just to practice manual focusing because there's lots of small birds here. Even got a sparrow nest in the roof awning directly above the feeder.
Very true are you into macro - you should find lots of subjects there.Don't mow it - it's a great habitat for wildlife as it is

I do love getting pictures of the insects in the garden, not really got the kit to really do any proper macro yet but my next lens I'm looking at has a better macro ratio and close focusing distance.

No he doesn't, he'll have more wild life that any mown lawn, mine is 3inch tall covered with flowering white clover, I love it. When the grass seeds finches will come and feed i.e Chaffinches and Bullfinches.You need to sell the camera and buy a lawn mower

My window is wide open fortunately so no need to remove anything for reflections. I've had sparrows sitting on the window sill while I've been at the window before now too, so they're not too skittish around me. We even have a blackbird that sits on the bench in the garden with us.Take one curtain down to stop any reflection, keep one up for going to bed.
