Hey All.
So to those of you that know me personally.. I hate heights, also i have a Cleft Lip and Palate (not like they are related).
So, a few weeks ago, i was chatting to a colleague i do voluntary work with at CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association), and she politely cornered me into doing an Abseil down the ArcelorMittal Orbit, one of the enduring phallic symbols and structures from London’s amazing Olympic Games in 2012. It is UK's tallest sculpture (262ft!).
So to many of you, that will be an easy feet. Hanging by a rope lowering your self down whilst enjoying the vista? Not to someone who has a fear of heights, okay it isnt an extreme fear, but getting dizzy is, and screaming like a girl (no offence ladies).
So i have a favour to ask. Does someone have a GoPro or the like, which i can strap to my body or head that i can borrow whilst i am dangling. Providing i Don't plummet to a quick death, i will be able to hand it back at the bottom?
Or maybe know where i can rent one?
