Beginner Anyone ID this small bird Please

It is a corn bunting, just getting into bird photography and I identified it with a little app called Merlin, it is free and rather good in my opinion.

Yep - corn bunting. The 'moustachial stripe' - coming from the beak under the cheek - is a typical bunting feature.

Thanks for the heads up about Merlin...... installed and IMO a worthwhile addition on the phone.
