Hi all, If you are using a mac with apple silicon and upgrade to the latest patch of Sequoia, 15.2, then there is a bug that stops some RAW file types showing in finder. For myself it's .ORF files from Olympus and OM Systems cameras, the images can still be opened by preview etc but no thumbnails show, only generic placeholders when looking for files in finder. I don't know if any other RAW file types are affected. If in doubt best not to upgrade to the latest patch from apple until this is sorted.

.DNG (Leica) okay here. :)

Fuji .raf files OK here.

I have the same problem with various raw files and even jpegs they show and then disappear then come back MacBook gets hot (as do I) I have been trying to fix it the for a little while on and off. No progress so far hopefully there will be another update soon to fix it.......

I have not seen a problem with my Panasonic RAW files. Is this just on a Spotlight search for a named file of looking for tags?

For me if I click on a folder of images I previously would see a thumbnail of each image now all I see is a generic photo of each image so I have to open up the file to actually see what the photo is. Tried a few things recommended on the web but nothing works. The weird thing is the thumbnails do appear briefly from time to time and then come and go as they like..I've never witnessed anything like it.....happens with NEFs, DNGs, Jpegs
