Art Deco/Nouveau (an open thread) Streamline, Modernist, Bauhaus too

Gillette building in Hounslow.

The crop is a bit tighter than I would like but I only had my 35mm shift lens with me.

Hi, der Neckerei-Brunnen (teasing-fountain (in Düsseldorf/D in front of the Görres-Gymnasium, i.e. Grammar School)). I thought it showed the quenching of the thirst for knowledge, but my interpretation was far too idealistic ... ---

Have a Happy New Year's Eve (when quenching your thirst ...)

Hi, Jugendstil in Wiesbaden/D (Wiesbaden was not bombed in WW2, so there are many buildings of that type.) :

Hi, Kurhaus (with flag) in Wiesbaden/D. Art Nouveau, with some classicistic elements. But this is quite common in art. Very often one finds stylistic elements from previous periods - at times even some from future ones ... --- :
