Out this morning with the XE2 and an old Tokina 28mm FD fitting. Have to say I've learned two things today, the Tokina has very little contrast, corrected in PP, and, don't carry a metal framed tripod with fingerless gloves when the temp has dropped below zero.

#2 is in my eye a very playful composition:
details wall to wall, static and moving parts etc.
I like that! See PM.
 
No. 2 is the best of the bunch as far as composition goes. Just need to take some loppers with you next time.
 
A very nice collection of photographs, my personal favourite is #1 as I like the way you caught the light in the arches. Great work

Thanks Craig, I was going to push through the branches but the ground was slippy and I didn't fancy a dip in the river, it was -2 :eek:

Thanks Chris, the light was pretty good that morning, not so the reflections unfortunately
