Auckland skyline panoramas 20mins apart

Do Nikon cameras refuse to take photos with clouds in, then? I knew there was a good reason I never owned one :D
 
I agree that the lights in the second one really bring life to the photo compared to the 1st one. I also prefer the range of colours in the sky in the second one.
 
The second one is really nice indeed. Lighting is perfect, as I like the contrast that you see from left to right.
 
I agree with @Hamlap , the eye is lead in better with the wooden posts in the second towards the tall tower.
 
The second one for me too. When I left school and I joined the merchant navy the very next day. My first trip to sea I sailed from Liverpool to New Zealand with Auckland being one of four ports that we called at.. A wonderful place. you can see the harbour in your photos. You could step off you ship straight into the centre of the city in minutes. We didn't have far to stagger back later on in the evening :)
