Well timed Les, shame the light looked poor

As Phil says, good timing :)

PS this made me smile, thinking of the spaghetti 'scene' in Lady & the Tramp ;)

Lovely pair of Avocets, Les :)
- do I detect a little cloning near the left hand bird's bill and rump, mate?

Russ

Old Eagle Eyes picked that up , I wouldn`t of spotted it :D

Laurie Campbell said over cast days are the best to shoot in ..... I quite like that shadow less lighting , and must of helped keep the whites in check . And a pose that will be very hard to repeat . Well caught I`d say .

Mark, that's like saying we 'prefer' environment shots in wildlife ....... its just an excuse for not getting what we want :angelic::LOL:

great timing have never seen one, they re not down my way as far as i am aware

Great timing Les, and a nice shooting angle. If you have a bit of extra room to play with then the image needs a slight anti-clockwise rotation and you could then move the birds so the touching of the bills is dead centre.

One of your recent best
