Stacking these was a good strategy, Colin.
I dig the composition (specially the FG)
and rendition though a tad flat colour wise
and needs straightening.

Fstops and apetures? I'm not getting that. Other than that may I be first (edit, second) to mention the tilt and the horizon being off. Would have been good to have all of the two posts in the foreground without them cut off.
 
Nice shot, but the horizon is wonky and also maybe the post with rope is a bit too prominent for me.. I was there a few weeks back.. Great spot
