+1 ^^ though for interaction the Kestrel, Owl tussle over the vole is a standout one to me.

Wow......that kestrel one is amazing! Still awaiting for the one in my local area to appear again! Disappears through the summer and comes back out around Autumn/winter unless it's just more noticeable as it hunts longer?

Thanks for the positive feedback folks. All most appreciated. The first picture was runner up in the "Wildlife in the Landscape" category of the North East Wildlife Photography Competition 2015. The one with the kestrel is too much of a crop for competition, but has featured in the Daily Telegraph

Barn owl are my favourite owls. These do them justice. Nice natural action shots.

I really like backlit barn owl images, the colours in no 1 are great. The capture of the kestrel and barn owl is a good image even considering the crop.
