As always thoughrs and comments welcome.

Wow... You almost feel like your there. Nicely shot (pardon the pun) Well done Geoff

Thanks Glyn, I wasn't sure whether it would work at the time, I did do some wider shots but felt they had less impact.

Lovely set I went to Ramsbottom yesterday and managed to get a few pictures

Great set, I was there and you've captured it just right.

Thanks Billy, the viewpoint was ideal for getting almost eye level shots. Though it was hard to pick just a few that captured it all.

Thanks Glen and many thanks for the comments. I was aiming for that sort of reportage stlye I'd seen from old photo's, I just wasn't sure I could carry it off....

Thanks Neil, I did miss the first boazooka firing off, only coz it was so loud I forgot to press the shutter, on the last image I did have a shot just beforey they jumped up and ran forward, but again felt the image I'd chosen really captured what it was like.

Ryewolf Any more photos of Battle of Rossendorf Please? :)

Alas no - but thanks for asking, while I do have others they are very similiar to the ones I've posed, and sadly I was too far away from the re-enactors playing the German forces as I only took my 24-105mm lens.
