Baydon - Early Frosts

First time sharing images on here in what feels like forever.
A nice frosty, foggy morning coincided with one of my first trips out with the new camera.
I'd originally driven to my favourite local heathland, but with no frost and flat skies I headed back towards Swindon in search of the mist I had driven through that morning. Luckily I found some weird foggy mist and frost on the Downs.

These have a lovely atmosphere. I lean to the simplicity of the first, but the curves of the second are very seductive.

Thanks John, the first appeals more to me also. I like the trees along the ridgeline.

First all the way. The muted colour palette compliments the very simple composition, and the way the isolated trees in the mid ground catch the light draw the eye past the foreground clump.

Thank you Ian. There is a pheasant in there too if you look closely. I'm amazed what you find with so many megapixels!
