Hi everyone

Having brought a Nikon af-p 70-300 lens for my Nikon d5500 back in may I finally got the chance to try it out at Silverstone last weekend.
Having viewed some of the fantastic pictures that you all have uploaded I'm alittle apprehensive but we all have to start somewhere.
These haven't been edited yet as I've got to buy a laptop powerful enough to use Lightroom.

These look pretty good to me mate for raw images, I think some cropping would help - especially regarding the Alonso and Hamilton pans. Could have done with a lower shutter speed on the last two but good detail in them. As you say I think a run through of post processing would help them all sing a bit more - I know im a fine one to talk about tilting the images but some of these might be a little too severe - I try to line up elements of the image to the corners where possible to help with leading lines, usually the lines of the track etc. A good job on the whole, nothing to be disheartened about

Many thx Jonny for taking the time to comment. I'll take your comments onboard for next time, I suppose practice makes perfect :).

Well done, much better than my first attempt. Were you standing close to the fencing?

The panning shots were above fencing at Stowe corner.
The Vettel and max one was also at Stowe through the fence and the others at luffield through the fence

These are great, especially for your first time. With some editing these could really shine. What shutter speed were the Hamilton and Alonso pics?
