I know we don't usually get film shots in here, but I'd love some feedback on a couple of my Berlin shots! Velvia 50, on an Olympus XA4 that's older than I am.

Going for dark and moody with this one, I like the negative space on the left but not sure if it works?

1) I keep wondering what's further round to the right. The shot works, but feels like it could be stronger if you were just a little further left and then panned so that the left hand lights were just inside the edge of the image.
2) A good idea, but it feels like the background to the rubbish is 'unsatisfying' and the light is dull.
3) Classic tower shot, good light. (y)

You're welcome. I wish people would crit my stuff more (although it's nice to be told 'great shot') and it only seems right to do the same for others.

the last one was in East Berlin when I was posted to West Berlin 88/90

your 2nd sums up Berlin these days from what I've been told its a dirty place,

liked 2 & 3 think you got dark and moody for the 1st

Thanks for the feedback! Berlin was actually really clean - the cans here were left on purpose, I think. It was in the back of a car park, the rest of Berlin was quite clean (much more so than London at least).
