Not had much time to get out and shoot new stuff for a while so I've been processing some of my snapshots from some city breaks I did last year.

I had a few days in Berlin and these are some of the structures that caught my eye:

Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe by Tim Garlick, on Flickr

Checkpoint Charlie by Tim Garlick, on Flickr

Window Display, C&A, Berlin by Tim Garlick, on Flickr

Berlin Wall by Tim Garlick, on Flickr

Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus by Tim Garlick, on Flickr

Sony Centre, Berlin by Tim Garlick, on Flickr

There's more on my flickr stream along with some alternate shots of these, but I think these are my favourite. Not sure that last one fits in with the others though...

I virtually have the same shots from a few years back, A truly photogenic city with opportunities on every corner.
Check point charlie is manic all the time as you have captured.
The memorial is eerie and weird

the last time I saw the wall it was getting pulled down ;)

nice to see C&A still there

Reminds me of my last visit. I also found the Holocaust Memorial rather eerie, despite the coachloads of tourists.

Thanks guys. Think we lucked out when we went to the memorial then, it was just us and the security guard. Unless everyone else was hiding, which could very well be possible.
