Best mates!

Fantastic composure and caught the expressions well.
The distance between the two works for me also.
I think there may be an opportunity to get +1/2 stop extra exposure, to make the white in his jumper pop, it may also reduce any redness in his face.
He looks so solemn and regal sat there waiting!
Dog makes me laugh.
Definite keeper.

Hi Micheal. I like this too the exspressions are great. It's a little shame that they are so close to either edge of the frame but hey ho thats how it goes.
You maybe able to extend they canvas if you felt the need.
I'm no expert but if it were mine I would try.

Surprisingly, sons are more willing to pull the
tongue to the camera. Here, the dog proves

that it should be learned posing manners! :)
Cool take!

I upped the exposure a stop and it does make a difference, detail in the dog can now be seen ;)

Thanks for feedback.

I edited raw file in camera, increased exposure, change film simulation to astia, set white balance to day light.

More detail in dog, skin tone no longer red, but grass does not look as natural.

May try processing in capture 9.
