Scotland Bird Colonies Argyll?

I'll be in Ardfern for a week, week after next (between Oban and Lochgilphead). Can any of the more experienced birders here advise if there are good places to go for bird photography in the general area. Don;t mind a bit of a drive as I've got some landscape stuff I'm planning which will be a bit of a trek but some direction to a sensible place for birds would also be of interest.
