sadly one of my cats brought home a bird that I’ve never seen before.
It was smaller than a blackbird but longer than sparrow bullfinch type birds.
Back feathers dark brown and mid brown and black and side of head and belly orange and white,at first I thought it was a small paraqueet.
I’ve taken a photo and will upload it tonight ,haven’t got time right now .
    Any ideas?
