Hi all,

Does anyone recommend me a good place in Sussex to do some wildlife photography and bird photography?

I am very interested in species as kingfisher, peregrine falcon, Heron, owls or birds of prey.

Ideally I would like to capture them in their natural environment but I only know a few nature reserves within the area such as Ashdown forest.

Thanks for your time reading this. Appreciated any info.

hi sorry its not in sussex but elmley nature reserve on the isle sheppey has great wadding birds, owls, and many birds of pray including marsh harriers. Hides are scatted around the site i believe its £5 parking for no members all day

Warnham Local Nature Reserve near Horsham

RSPB Pulborough in Surrey

Sevenoaks nature reserve

Just a few places within reasonable distance of "Sussex"

Sussex - Big County. In neighbouring Hampshire you have the Hawk Conservancy (near Andover)

Pulborough Brooks came to mind first, then WWT Arundel. Neither feature many (if any) raptors though.

You might want to try Johnstantonphotography.co.uk based just outside crawley - a good range of woodland birds, plants etc and he is a nice guy!
