A female Black-Darter Sympetrum danae 3.30am Covered in the early morning dew on it start on Crowle-moors From last Sunday been to busy to look at them All yet so this is a quick one ? it was dark windy start to the morning

Lovely image. Love the fact that the little guy appears to be covered in dew is tilting his head toward the camera . What a poser.
Can we see the exif data on this. What lens were u using.
Did u use flash, mirror lockup, tripod etc.

3.30 AM, was this Sun lit , looks like it ?

No Graham the only day of work and it was overcast and a bit windy so the ringflash was use

As asked for canon 7d2 with the canon 100 2.8 usm macro with the canon my-24-ex ringflash no mirror lock up and this shot was done on a tripod but not all my shots are ?
